In today's member spotlight, we highlight 101.7 WCVT Classic Hits Vermont who joined the Chamber back in 1972!
This music network is to provide the adult listening audience a locally produced and locally hosted programming service featuring memorable songs from 1960 to the early 1980’s. Our research has shown that many of America’s favorite recording stars from that period have virtually disappeared from the radio dial.
Our intent is to present a wide variety of quality music with fewer interruptions and less hype than other stations.
Though primarily an entertainment station, Classic Hits Vermont has its roots in community service radio pioneered by our flagship station WDEV FM and AM. We are dedicated to serving in the public interest with immediate access to vital news information and severe weather alerts in the tradition of the public good, safety and necessity.
