September is Pride Month in Vermont, but nobody told the owls! Every October NBNC biologists capture, tag, and release Northern Saw-whet Owls as part of a national network of scientists working to better understand their migration. Join them to meet these pint-sized owls and nerd out with local LGBTQ+ nature enthusiasts.
Please Note:
- The program will have a mixture of indoor and outdoor activity. Please bring a mask for indoor portions, and wear warm clothes for the outdoor portion.
- This program is limited to 30 people.
- We will cancel the program in the event of forecasted rain or high winds, and notify you via the email provided at registration by mid-afternoon on the day of the program.
- We can’t guarantee that we’ll encounter these wild owls, but these programs have been scheduled at the peak of their fall migration season when they are most likely to visit our research station.
