North Branch Nature Center issued the following announcement.
Come celebrate the release of the new book Our Better Nature: Hopeful Excursions in Saving Biodiversity with us! A collaboration among Vermont conservation organizations and conservationists and edited by Curt Lindberg and Eric Hagen, this work presents stories, essays, and resources to guide and inspire action in favor of nature everywhere. We’re hosting a book launch party Wednesday, June 15 from 6 - 7:30 pm at NBNC. At the event, you’ll hear from several contributors to the book – George Schenk from American Flatbread, Tom Butler from Northeast Wilderness Trust, Alicia Daniel from Vermont Master Naturalist and Sean Beckett from North Branch Nature Center. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase the book and get it signed, enjoy some refreshments, and participate in a short biodiversity walk. We hope to see you there!
