We’re Hiring! We’re seeking a Visitor Services Manager, to build and implement many elements of our public engagement programming and oversee operations at GMC’s two Visitors Centers. What does that mean? Well, read below and check out today’s stories for a sense of the role! 

This person will:
Manage hiring and training of staff and volunteers for GMC’s two Visitor Centers (in Waterbury and Barnes Camp in Stowe)

Along with the VC team, answer hiker questions and provide recommendations for day hikes + trip planning on the Long Trail and beyond

Brainstorm and lead educational and community events and gatherings

Help foster a love and appreciation for the Green Mountains

Manage inventory, orders, and shipping for GMC merchandise

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) issued 102 home loans in Vermont, totaling $37.3 million, during the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2024, according to figures provided by the Veterans Affairs Home Loans Index.
