In-state students at Johnson State College paid some of the highest tuition and fees in 2022

Johnson State College cost $12,804 in tuition and fees for students studying in-state, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

This ranks Johnson State College as one of the six most expensive schools in Vermont in 2022.

The amount an in-state students in tuition and fees was unchanged from the previous year.

Out-of-state students attending Johnson State College in 2022 were expected to pay $26,892, which is unchanged from the previous year.

The average cost of college has more than doubled in the 21st century, growing by more than 7% every year. In-state students can expect to spend nearly $10,000 on tuition alone per year at a public, 4-year post-secondary school.Meanwhile, out-of-state tuitions averages $27,457.

In 2022-23 a total of $240.7 billion in financial aid was granted to help graduate and undergraduate students.
