Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning (GMALL) is excited to partner with the Manchester Historical Society to present this talk about the history of Burr and Burton Academy. This talk will be available both in person and online via Zoom. Join us for a look back at the history of this storied Manchester institution, from the early days of the lone limestone building in the middle of a pasture to its current position as a world-class educational academy. The talk will include an introduction to some of the people who devoted themselves to generations of students: where they came from, why they stayed, and the legacy they left our community. Registration is free, however, space is limited for the in-person talk and pre-registration is required.
