Green Mountain Club issued the following announcement.
Certain hiking trails are closed to protect peregrine falcons during their nesting period. Peregrines are vulnerable to human disturbance on or above a nesting cliff, says Vermont Fish & Wildlife. Please respect closures, and avoid hiking and climbing around these areas until August 1.
