Julianna Rauf joins NFIB as Vermont grassroots manager

Julianna Rauf has been appointed as the new Grassroots Manager for Vermont at the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). With a background in government affairs, communications, and public relations, Rauf brings experience from her previous role at the Northeastern Retail Lumber Association (NRLA), where she coordinated legislative and regulatory affairs. Her work there included managing grassroots initiatives for independent lumber and building materials businesses across several states including New England, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, and Delaware.

In 2021, Rauf co-founded the American Building Materials Alliance (ABMA), serving as its federal affiliate coordinator. She was responsible for managing federal grassroots initiatives for both NRLA and the Construction Suppliers Association (CSA), which represents several Southern states.

Rauf expressed her commitment to advocating for small and independent businesses: “I believe that everyone has a voice to be heard and a story to tell. I look forward to helping small business owners elevate, unite, and amplify their voices and become actively involved.”

Outside of her professional endeavors, Rauf enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking in the Catskill or Adirondack high peaks, traveling, reading, playing musical instruments like the ukulele or saxophone, and participating in various sports. She resides near Albany, NY.
