The Bennington County Solid Waste Alliance, consisting of the towns of Arlington, Bennington, Dorset, Glastenbury, Manchester, Pownal, Rupert, Sandgate, Searsburg, Shaftsbury, Stamford, Sunderland, and Woodford will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. This will be a “hybrid” meeting with the board and members of the public meeting at the Arlington Town Hall, 3828 VT Route 7A, Arlington, VT.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) issued 102 home loans in Vermont, totaling $37.3 million, during the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2024, according to figures provided by the Veterans Affairs Home Loans Index.
