A reminder from our friends at Stowe Mountain Rescue that even the most experienced hiker can find themselves in a sticky situation needing assistance. We love highlighting what this hiker did right:
-Turned around when conditions deteriorated unexpectedly
-Called for help as soon as they needed it (before losing cell service/battery)
-Stayed put, stayed dry, stayed (as) warm (as possible).
